Barents Snow and Sand Tent Pegs

Used these pegs in Lapland from +2C down to -25C and they were excellent, poor handling meant two a now bent ( don’t kick em in frozen snow ) but either pushed in or layed flat in a small trench and covered over they secure the tent really well. I used cheap short pegs of similar style for the tent sides but the guys were all of this size and they give a lot of confidence when it’s blowing to hold the tent firm. I would recommend them. Bought two packs of these for a TARRA tent and sprayed them orange to easily identify. Added small loops of cord and small karabiner to attach to the guy lines too, none were lost in three weeks this way. From hard ice to sugar granules they were large enough to adapt unlike smaller ones so really a good choice.

This is the second batch. Great service from Rhodri, the pegs themselves are spot on. With varying snow conditions over 49 days in the winter Swedish mountains they were a game changer where the ‘normal’ 30cm pegs were too short. No need for ‘coloured’ pegs either bits of cord attached. Keep it simple, and these do the trick perfectly. Great product.
