A practical, lightweight and durable ½ bag designed to store equipment and food in a Paris expedition sled. The Pack Bag ½ Size HD from Piteraq Hardware is a further development of the Sjur Mørdre sled bag. Made from an extremely durable 210D Nylon with a PU coating, the fabric offers 0.8m Hydrostatic head water resistance for protection in all but the worst weather. Seams are not taped. Two compression straps along the length of the bag ensure stability while moving. Two bags, end to end, fit inside the Paris sled.
We do not recommend lifting heavy loads with this bag. It has been designed as part of a gear storage system that sits on a sled. It should be packed and unpacked while on the sled to reduce stress on fabrics, materials and trim. When full, the weight can be substantial.
- Volume: 112L
- Dimensions: L 70cm x W 40cm x H 40cm
- Weight: 400g
- YKK non-stick vislon zipper with 2-Zip heads
- Sewn construction
- 2x 25mm compression straps with cold resistant buckles
- Extremely durable 210D Nylon N/robic with PU coating. 0.8m Hydrostatic Head and DWR
Finding the balance between durability and low weight our 210D is perfect for our toughest pulk bags. It is a 210 Denier textured Nylon which offers a much higher level of abrasion resistance and tear strength when compared with cheaper Nylons. A layer of Polyurethane (PU) to the inside achieves a consistent 0.8m hydrostatic head, which is perfect for shedding snow melt or sitting on damp ground. To the outside there is a resilient DWR for added weather protection
All bags showing this symbol are suitable for protection against rain showers, snow melt and wet ground. They are not suitable for prolonged use in wet weather as the seams may not be taped. If this is a possibility we suggest moving to one of our waterproof bags with the Immersion symbol. However, we still make sure our water resistant fabrics have a practical hydrostatic head and a DWR finish
